During the last month of May, SAS organized an encounter of different Turkey field Technicians, with the purpose of training them and presenting the new intensive culture techniques in Spain that use SAS products.
Turkey, that in the world-wide statistics appears as main producing country in many crops (fruit and vegetables mainly), is far from its authentic exporting potential, reason why Spain represents a good mirror to look at for future development.
The visited crops were: pepper, tomato, melon, artichoke, nectarine and table grape, in different production systems - from the most technified hydroponic to the simplest irrigation system with a single mixture tank -.
The visit highly was valued by both parts that already prepare a next visit to Turkey for this year. |
